Music is the way in and AI is the bridge: an education where artistic creation and technological innovation strengthen each other.
AThe brand
A cross-disciplinary brand that begins with music
StellaMuse is a music-technology education brand incubated by the Global Institute for AI Innovation (GIAI). Music is the way in and AI is the bridge, as we explore an education in which artistic creation and technological innovation strengthen each other.

Where the name comes from
- Stella
- Star, the stars, starlight.
- Muse
- The Muses, the nine goddesses of Greek myth who preside over the arts, music and poetry; by extension, inspiration and its source.
- 昭 zhāo
- Bright, clear and evident; by extension light, beauty, and making something known.
- 茉 mò
- Jasmine, a flower that stands for fragrance, purity, quiet grace and beauty.
Together, 昭茉 is a jasmine in the light: graceful, and bright.
BThe team
A founding team across art and engineering
The founding team brings together experienced practitioners in music and the arts, AI engineering, international curricula and cross-cultural arts education. Their practice spans the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Dubai and Thailand, with hands-on experience that joins education, technology and cultural exchange.
We study the structure of sound, the logic of rhythm, emotional expression and cultural meaning in music, and we practise data thinking, algorithms, intelligent control and product making in technology, bringing the two together as learning projects that can be explored, created and tested.

CThe pathway
One pathway from early years to university
With the institute’s academic support and global network, we have created a continuous curriculum that runs from kindergarten to university. Learners begin with musical perception and intelligent creation, move step by step into interdisciplinary application, and go on to further study and exchange abroad. The curriculum looks at intelligent living, human wellbeing, cultural heritage and scientific innovation, and guides learners to find problems, create work and test their ideas in real settings.
How a learner grows
Musical perception and intelligent creation
Begin by listening, understanding and expressing; get to know the tools and finish first pieces of work.
Interdisciplinary application
Bring musical knowledge into technology projects: find problems, create work and test ideas in real settings.
Further study and exchange abroad
Move on to specialist research, preparation for further study and cross-cultural exchange.
Where the curriculum looks
- Intelligent living
- Human wellbeing
- Cultural heritage
- Scientific innovation
We aim to develop people who understand the arts and use technology well, rooted in their culture and open to the world.
DMission and philosophy
Mission, vision and philosophy
A founding team from music, AI engineering, international curricula and cross-cultural arts education, turning two professional languages into learning projects that can be explored, created and tested.
MissionMission
Imagination through music. Creation through technology.
Through sustained practice, develop people with artistic cultivation, innovative thinking and the ability to apply what they know.
VisionVision
Let artistic creativity grow in the digital age.
Backed by the institute’s research and global network, connecting further study, the professional stage and exchange abroad.
PhilosophyPhilosophy
Aesthetics inspire. Technology empowers. Practice grows.
Start from musical perception and intelligent creation, move into interdisciplinary application, and leave work and ideas of your own.
